Excellent points Aaron. The Trib just wants to see Los Osos speakers, especially me and Jeff, “put in our place.” Neither of us care what the Trib thinks or thinks is newsworthy.
Frank is likely tired of my emails asking for a LOWWP update, the fact, as you so well point out from the Dan Carl letter to Mark Hutchinson, is that there is plenty of work ahead. My questions remain unanswered…who’s doing the work? At what cost?
Don’t you remember the November 3 meeting where the BOS advanced another $250 million? Public works was really asking for $1.25M, suggesting that they’d be back after January for the next Mil. So, where are they? Especially with the longer list from Coastal than anticipated.
Hey,where’s that grant application? Let’s see what Diodatti has produced with that $250K. and in that short order time frame.
There’s plenty to talk about. I merely asked for an update. I would think the Supes would be interested too. There’s another million to float and still no way to get it paid back. Paavo ought to be a little nervous by now.

I don’t think LAPD, Ventura PD or even Simi PD would tolerate such ineptness as has been displayed in the SLO Sheriff’s Department & I have friends at each of these agencies. SLO County Government is a JOKE!

The people insist on remaining informed so that they may retain control over the instruments they have created.

Has anyone heard the outcome of the “investigation” in the MWH Los Osos office “break in” that happened a few years ago? I don’t recall ever hearing the outcome of that “investigation” even though all computers, paperwork, contracts, etc. were purportedly “stolen” in the “break in”. It seems like a theft of this magnitude should have had some sort of resolution, even though I realize that the SLO County Sheriff’s Department are very inept in their investigative skills. Does anyone have any “clues”?
